Folks, welcome to the tallest waterfall in Langkawi. In today's post, we'll be taking you to a quick travel to one of Langkawi's hidden gems, Temurun Waterfall.

This gem is located in Datai Bay area. It is open everyday for visitors from 7am until 7pm with free entrance fee. Yep, you heard us. Free entrance fee. Temurun is a three-tier waterfall and its water stream flows down the Mat Cincang Mount. The first-tier of the waterfall is around 5-minute walk from the car park at the main road. Yes, it is a walkable distance. You don’t have to sweat that much to get to the first pool. From the entrance, you will start walking through Mat Cincang rainforest, and gradually head your way up through its rock staircase to reach the next tier. From down below, you can already see the tall stream of Temurun. Along the way, there will be spots for you to sit and take a break while enjoying the fresh panorama of the flora and fauna. Just remember that some steps might be steeper and slippery. So, make sure you wear an appropriate pair of shoes.

Once you reach the top tier, be prepared to be awed to the tropical nature heritage. You will see a magnificent view of the waterfall coming down the steep mountain slope. This 30-metre tall waterfall forms a shallow pool with clean and clear water at the end of it. Though it is not really wide, it is still deep enough for people to bath and swim. People can even jump from the adjoining cliff into the pool! Fantastic, isn’t it? If you’re looking for an excitement with full stream of water, it is best to go here during rainy season as it is a seasonal fall. Other than that, there might be no full flow.
